Long Time, No Activity!

A lot has happened since I last posted. I was kinda looking over the past blogs and so much has changed since then. A few of the big ones are.

1) on November 12 2010 I found out I was pregnant in the KU med hospital bathroom.
2) November 15 2010, my dad passed away after a long hard battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
3) I have given birth to the most amazing sweetest little boys on July 25 2011.
Other things have happened, but those are the big ones.

So now on to what we are doing right now.

Curtis is in his last semester at KCKCC for graphic design. He is still working on post as a student hire and one of his classes that he is taking is an internship course. He is doing that at Providence hospital (the same hospital that Orson was born) doing some graphic design things. He still plays with legos, is an amazing dad, and a hard working husband.

I have been staying at home with Orson since he was born. I wouldn't change this opportunity for the world. There is nothing better than to stay home and watch my little boy grow and learn new things. I have started sewing a little more, I don't have as much time for it as I would like and am still not the best at it, but I do enjoy it.
I have also started watching a few kids to earn a little extra money. I watch Holden Mon-Thurs, David Mon and Wed, and Aliza and Liam on Wednesdays, and starting in December I will be watching be watching a newborn. I am super stoked for that!

Orson is the sweetest, silliest, goofiest, smartest little baby I have ever known! He loves having all of his friends over and playing with them. Last Wednesday the kids were jumping around and Orson was watching them so intently and actually attempted to jump. He didn't quite jump, but his attempts were so cute.
He loves bananas. He will eat an entire banana in one sitting! If at the store I walk by the bananas he tries to get one and as I walk away he keeps saying nana! nana! nana! (that is one of his favorite words)
He loves to color and do anything that is hands on. I bought some wooden beads and some pipe cleaners and he loves to play with those.

Hopefully Curtis and I will be more diligent in actually updating the blog.
